Why: Who can go past a free show at Dos Kole­gas with such an incred­i­ble lineup! High­lights include some great jam ses­sion line­ups, Ningxia folk AND hard rock out­fits Migra­tory Bird/Nucleus, as well as expat stars Black Cat Bone, Made­moi­selle, and the newly-formed Randy Abel Sta­ble. It will be a long after­noon and evening of great music, chill­ing out on the Dos Kole­gas lawn, and most likely some eat­ing and drink­ing. Bring your friends and have a great time! You won’t be disappointed.

A direct tie for gig of the week — and it would have been it if I didn’t think the price tag of FREE was such a draw card — is the Life Jour­ney “Won­der­ful Life” album launch at Yugong Yis­han on Fri­day, 9:00PM, 80/60RMB.
